"5 VENETIAN POEMS" for Guitar solo by J. Freidlin were commissioned by the "Murano Museo del
Vetro" (a Museum situated on an island-town within the Venetian lagoon).
A wonderful Australian guitarist - Lincoln Brady - has premiered and made a home-recording of this
suite/cycle for guitar. The '5 Poems' are titled: 'Elemental Lagoon', 'Clouds' , 'Neverending
Column', 'Enchanted Forest' & 'The Kiss' (all are dedicated to Luciano Gasperi's exhibits). The art-
design of the last 'Poem' was inspired by the great 'vitrages' of Marc Chagall.
I'd like to express my view that Lincoln Brady indeed managed to feel the special poetry of
these Venetian glass-Art exhibits
